The Communications Committee was created to communicate on many levels.  Our chairs, Eileen Butler and Harriet Diamond bring their pre-retirement experience in doing just that.  Eileen, a high school teacher who retired as an administrator, continues to be instrumental on several non-profit boards.  Harriet, retired owner of a corporate training company, developed and taught programs to employees at all levels in a variety of companies.  The two amassed a strong team of volunteers with a broad spectrum of talents:  writing, proofreading/editing, photography, and an eye for and appreciation of art. Ocean Life, our in-house newsletter has grown exponentially over the years, thanks to our committee members and other resident contributors. Equally important, is this team’s ability to bring our residents outstanding authors to speak at our Book Talks and talented artists to participate in our Gallery exhibitions. We take pleasure in bringing these amenities to the Ocean Club.
